Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and JONLAN PTY LTD, Australia (“Pekpik”, “we”), for your use of the Pekpik VPN apps, servers and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
1. Your account
The app creates a guest account on your device. You can link an email address to use the same account on other devices. Keep access to that email secure; anyone who can receive your sign-in codes can access your account. Accounts are for personal use and may have a device limit.
2. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully. You must not use it to:
- break the law where you are, or help anyone else do so;
- send spam, distribute malware, or attack, scan or disrupt other networks or systems;
- infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy, or share content that exploits children;
- resell, share or automate access to the Service, or interfere with how it works.
You are responsible for checking that using a VPN is permitted where you are. We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules or puts the Service or other users at risk.
3. Free use and VIP
Free servers are provided as they are, and may have data allowances, speed limits or availability that changes over time. VIP is a paid subscription that gives access to VIP servers and removes the free data allowance and ads, as described in the app at the time you buy.
4. Subscriptions and payment
App Store subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple under Apple’s terms. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID settings. Purchases on direct downloads are processed by Stripe and can be managed from the app’s account page. Prices are shown before you buy and include any taxes the store is required to charge.
5. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple. For direct-download purchases, see our refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control, and server locations can change. We may update the apps and the Service. If we make a change that materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance where we can.
7. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your breach of these terms. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the Service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions: legal@pekpik.com.
